Poly life is coming to an end for year 3s like us. Some of us have already finished the last and final paper.. Mine is ending tomorrow.. 3 years have ended so fast, and this means we will have to bid farewell to daiko soon. Sad isn't it? All the year 3 peeps can post ur thoughts and experiences in daiko on this blog ya? Good things must share.. Haha.

Daiko life coming to an end.

In summary:

Year 1

-Signed up at Daiko booth with zc.

-Getting to know everyone on orientation.

-Saw my 1st Daiko performance by the seniors in the old clubhouse.

-First training on friday.

-Red drums. 8 people on 1st training.

-Takada and Fang.

-Prayer of the Rain.

-Performance at Marina Bay. Fun.

-Helping out at the National Day Celebration in Jurong East. Quite boring.

-Trainings every friday and saturday. Always late. Haha.

-Dinner after friday's training. Tiong bahru/Lau Pa Sat.

-DOH-Yoshino-Kiyon-Chun Feng-SOK-Victory

-Performances in school and outside school.

-International Cultural Night performance which led to the 3 girls joining us in year 2. Haha.

-Memoirs of a Geisha performance. Lots of people impressed. Haha.

-!Chill performance in school. Nobody watching.

-Starz @ SP performance. Met Yvonne Lim backstage. Haha.

-Doing duty at Clementi Student Service Centre. sian.

-Daiko Test cum Christmas outing. Steamboat. Woolala.

-SRRR performance. Staying overnight in Clubhouse. Not bad.

-Learning of Suigun Daiko. Great.

-Preparation for Tsuki Concert. Tiring.

-Practise and practise.

-Learning of Blue Moon. Fun!

-Tsuki Concert on 18/03/06. Happy.

-Daiko Chalet at Chalet M in Aloha Changi. Double happiness.

-Kodomo Concert during the 4 days chalet. Impressed.

-Farewell to our seniors. Sad.

-Preparing video and gifts for our seniors.

-Amazing Race at Marina Square as a gift from seniors to us. Very fun!

Year 2

-CCA Drive! Fun.

-Doing duty at Clementi Student Service Centre. sian.

-Learning of Speedy. Pretty tough.

-Learning of Mizuguruma. Ok la. Easiest of all senior songs.

-First training as a senior. OMG. Nervous.

-Met lots of juniors. In the end only left 6. Haha.

-Taught Fang, Takada, etc.

-Learning of Sanji/Hajiyjo. OMG.

-People left. Conflicts. Blah.

-Performing for Graduation Ceremony.

-Performing for BP Mentoring Anniversary

-Performing for GEM Asia at MOS. OMG.

-Performing for Asia Life Assurance Society.

-Performing for Nomura Bank Seminar.

-Performing for APSSA Conference.

-Performing for Japan-Singapore Joint Stamp Issue Exhibition.

-Performing for HDB Nippon Naito. Playing Shime for the 1st time during performance. Haha.

-Performing for Sony Digital Workshop Dinner & Dance.

-Performing for OSIM. Sian.

-Performing for NAC-Shell ArtReach Programme.

-Planning for Amazing Race 2006. OMG DAMN FUN LA!

-No concert anyway.

-AGM and appointment as VP. Haha.

-Training on every saturday during itp. Missed the times.

-Chinese New Year at zc's house. Watched Night at the Museum & The Host. Haha.

-Learning of Soretakebushi. Best song.

-Performing for SRRR. And K-box + Camp in School. FUN.



Year 3

-Preparation for CCA Drive.

-CCA Orientation Camp.

-Meeting the new juniors.

-Performing for the Graduation Ceremony.

-Preparing for Concert. OMG. Nice.

-Learning of Megumi.

-Concert Camp. Fun.

-Making Props. Hohoho.

-Steamboat. Wahaha.

-Concert Day! OMG OMG. Best concert! Hahaha.

-Outings after concert. Karaoke, Movies, etc. Hohoho.

-Daiko outing at Minds Cafe. Fun.

-Performance for Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration.

-Performance for Children's Day Party. LOL.

-Performance for 13th Asean Transport Ministers Meeting @ Marina Club, Sentosa. Yawns.

-Performance for Hitachi World's First Product Launch at Ritz Carlton.

-Performance for Global Cultural Festival.

-Taiko Workshops. 2 of them. Hohoho.

-Learning of Adventure. Great song.

-AGM. I was sick. Baaaaaaah.

-Amazing Race 2007. Argh. No feel though I put in more effort for this. 2006 was the best of all.. Haha.

-Performance for Open House.


OMGOMG LOOK AT MY DAIKO LIFE!! HAHAHA.. Juniors there are still 2 more years to go.. It can be more and more fun as time goes. Though conflicts are ought to happen, people come and go, there can still be times whereby u enjoy! So continue to stay for the whole 3 yrs and be a loyal daiko member. HAHAHA.
